Rebuilt motor with Disco Potato Turbo OPINIONS??RM2 2000GT 08-11-2005, 09:51 AM I am seriously considering buying this 1992 MR2 with this recently built engine. I need some honest opinions. I will be paying roughly 11000-12000 US Dollars. If everything is in good shape and is running smoothly, what do you think??? 173,000 miles on the odometer Clean Title, no accidents. 6000 miles since the rebuild on all components listed below. ENGINE Built by Bayshore Racing of San Francisco Head ferrea stainless intake/exhaust valves titanium retainers ferrea splitlocks hks springs stock cams hks camgears radial valve job port and polished decked Block CP custom forged pistons shot-peened conrods all new ARP hardware including headbolts, conrod bolts, main bearing bolts, flywheel bolts entire assembly race balanced from pulley to flywheel New oil, water pump, both idlers, tensioner, belts OTHER port and polished, port matched: throttle body horn, intake manifold, TVIS butterfly, head, exhaust manifold, turbo adapter, turbo inlet. brand new TVIS butterfly set* All hoses new on entire motor RPS clutch alternator, starter TURBO AND EXHAUST Garrett GT-28rs (disco potato) ballbearing turbo, internal wastegate 3 inch stainless downpipe custom 3 inch exhaust, stainless magnaflow muffler GReddy Intercooler and piping manual boost controller hks turbo timer COOLING All new coolant piping Radiator re-cored FUEL Walbro fuel pump factory injectors balanced by RC Engineering to 450cc SUSPENSION, BRAKES, ECT tokico 5 ways in front, koni 4 way in rear new toyota brakes and rotors yokohama avs es100 tires on all four rims ST front sway bar new lower ball joint on all 4 corners new tie rod ends *All components replaced with genuine toyota parts, unless otherwise specified ac427cpe 08-11-2005, 09:54 PM hard to tell w/o pics... i'm assuming in norcal. the owner might get that much, but i probably wouldn't go higer than 8-9k with what is done.
