ok so my mechanic said he is done with installing the ac, finished replacing ps hose, and is done installing new timing belt .. while he was looking around he also said the rack and pinion is messed up.. he also said he will never work on the car again and that i should really get rid of it, i dont know what to do .. should i keep it and keep dumping money into it or sell it and get some of my money back.. so anybody know prices for z32 rack and pinion and how much would it cost for labor on that. my speedo is still not working

did he say how it was screwed up?

your steering system isnt something that just goes out or needs replacing every so often. it should last the life of the car. more info please. does the car steer? it could possibly just need aligned.

wtf kinda mechanic is that! i wont work on your car anymore! and as for ur spedo how mechanicaly inclined are you? its just a line from the trans or ur gauge aint workin pretty easy stuff
