What would make an engine burn high amounts of gas and idle funny. Has full tune-up, new timing chain and gears, and new cpi unit. I ran the code with the knowledge I read from the maintaince book and the computer ran up the EGR code. I've taken off the upper intake and found some wetness of oil on passanger side, while driver side is dry. AS of this moment in time I have cleaned all of the carbon off every part and intake, and bought new gaskets. I put it together and is still not working right. Does anyone have any suggustions? This is a 92 s10 blazer 4x4 "Vin W" with 4.3 cpi. Help a Brother in need.

The fuel pressure regulator is probably leaking. Its on the passenger side inside intake manifold.
