Anyone want in on a group purchase?Savage Messiah 08-09-2005, 01:54 PM UMI strut tower bars and subframe connectors. The more people buy the cheaper it is Check here for details... http://firebirdnation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3937 cuda_dude 08-09-2005, 02:46 PM i might be interested.... camaroguy26 08-10-2005, 05:12 AM I'm interested in the subframe connectors if they fit my 98 Z28 Rally Sport 08-10-2005, 05:43 AM Im interested if they fit either my 03 Monte or my 92 Maro blindeyed 08-10-2005, 06:04 AM I don't really need those subframe connectors. But man do I wan't one of those red strut tower braces. But, it won't fit in my car. My A/C lines are in the way. I'll just have to get one once I get my compressor and a/c lines all taken out. Savage Messiah 08-10-2005, 09:04 AM You sure about that? Because they have ones made to fit on the 3.4/3.8/96-97 SS, and it'll work unless youre talking about custom stuff done... guys that want in: check www.umiperformance.com for what's available/what'll fit, and keep in mind 3rd gen and 4th gen suspension I believe is interchangeable/laid out the same way. otherwise go to the link I posted and basiacally add your name to the list Link85x 08-10-2005, 09:42 AM If i wasn't so tight for loot, i would do it. Is there a dead line? Savage Messiah 08-10-2005, 11:53 AM Not that i've heard of... but still im tight for cash but cant let this opportunity pass by. And if you really want... if you get an $80 stb for 60 and $140 SFCs for $120, you can resell em and make a few bucks... blindeyed 08-10-2005, 03:56 PM You sure about that? Because they have ones made to fit on the 3.4/3.8/96-97 SS, and it'll work unless youre talking about custom stuff done...t Right here, you can see where the lines run right over the lower bolt that the STB would need to hook onto. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/27932982-med.jpg Mr. Luos 08-10-2005, 03:58 PM Move it. blindeyed 08-10-2005, 04:17 PM Move it. Already tried. The top line easily bend out of the way, but the bottom one wont budge at all. Plus, there's a sensor on the bottom line that would be in the way regardless. It's all good though. I was eventually going to rip out all the a/c anyway. It needs recharged right now, so It's not like I ever use it. Savage Messiah 08-10-2005, 11:11 PM I do believe that the tab will spide under those hoses... email UMI theyll know what to do blindeyed 08-10-2005, 11:42 PM Well, it might be able to.. but again, the sensor and the hose seem like they would still be in the way. They're located directly above the bolt. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/27932900125-med.jpg blindeyed 08-10-2005, 11:45 PM But then again, it's gotta be able to fit somehow. They did it on this one. http://www.umiperformance.com/images/2007a.jpg http://www.umiperformance.com/images/2007b.jpg Savage Messiah 08-10-2005, 11:58 PM yup ;) so you in? blindeyed 08-11-2005, 12:10 AM Yeah sure, why not. I've got $90 sittin in my PayPal account. Savage Messiah 08-11-2005, 12:23 AM Sweet. For anyone interested, I just checked the link I posted int he beginning of this thread.
