My car accelerates normal only up to 40 mph. If i continue to increase my speed over 40 mph the car begins to jolt vigorously !!
If there are any automotive guru's out there - i need u now. This is a tuff one... ?
I've changed air filter, spark plugs , and pcv valve - no help.
I'm thinking fuel starvation (fuel pump) - do u agree ?

Can someone assist in troubleshooting. THX!!!

What year? Automatic or manual? Does it matter how briskly you are accelerating?

Preliminary...It could be a bad axle or CV joint.

Fuel starvation would occur more so with RPM or engine load vs vehicle speed.
