radio Dodge B350

Just purchased a 1994 Dodge Ram B350.
There has never been a radio or speakers in this van, any ideas how and where I can put a system into this van.. It was modified to be used as a transit vehicle for the handicapped. There is an boxed area above the heater/ac switches like for maps, is there where the radio should have been? Am thinking of cutting out that box, or mounting something on the transmission hump.

I have a 96 B2500 van. In mine, the radio is mounted above the environmental control head (heater/AC controls)
