Window fell inside door...........esfd455 08-07-2005, 08:04 PM Oh boy......Got rid of the pings now my driver's window fell inside the door when I was lowering it. Opened the panel and found that it came out of the metal sleeve it sits in for raising and lowering. . I put it back and put some RTV on it. The next day I tried it and it still wants to pull out and fall down inside the door. Does anybody know of what is better to use to keep the glass window in the metal sleeve?????? I really do not want to take it to a WINDOW INSTALLER or the DEALER. Please do not tell me to use bubble gum and a bobby pin..LOL FF/EMT Gary New York xj31 08-07-2005, 10:24 PM Either one of those will work esfd455 08-08-2005, 09:57 PM Thanks.............. FF/EMT Gary wowchad 12-17-2005, 10:08 AM Thanks.............. FF/EMT Gary I'm going to tackle this same problem right now. I'm glad I came across this thread! How hard is it to remove a panel off a Jeep? I've done it on Ford's a bunch of times. It's easy though, just remove a couple screws and lift. No goofy plastic clips..... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
