Hey guys, I am looking at a '01 Sentra SE-R for the same price as 2001 Celica GT-S. I want whatever car is faster and more reliable. Any suggestions?

Here's your times:

Celica GT-S:
0-60mph = 7.8 seconds.
1/4 mile = 15.8

2001 Sentra SE 2.0:
0-60mph = 8.1
1/4 mile = 16.2

2002+ Sentra SE-R Spec-V
0-60mph = 7.4
1/4 mile = 15.4

wow.. just wow. 15.8 in a GT-S 6-speed. That's pretty embarassing... that really speaks alot for the driver. It was probably a 2002 with the lowered rev limiter.

The GT-S is a high 14's car if you can drive it. Myself and several others at newcelica.org are running 14's bone stock with no weight reduction. My personal best is in my sig.

The same day I ran that time I raced a spec-v on the way home on the highway. He had a dial-in of 14.9 written on his window, he said he had intake and exhaust. I pulled away from him on a highway run going 65 to around 115.. I ended up about 2-3 cars ahead. We both had 1 passenger.

If you get the Celica make sure you get the 6 speed. Stay away from the automanual. They are so slow when they take off that it isn't even funny. But hold on when it hit 6k rpms cause it will put you back in you seat
