My 93 grand cherokee rolls away after parking it, i did not pull the emg brakes but am pretty sure i put it in park, anyone knows what this could be? the tranny shifts fine during driving.

Check the shift linkage adjustment. Also there was a recall of some type on the shift linkage (at least applied to my 96) Check the jeep website to see if yours is included.

If it is not the outside linkage then the pan needs to be removed and the internal linkage, park pawl and gear could be bent or broken.

Is your front driveshaft disconnected?

If you remove the front driveshaft, this will make the jeep roll away if parked on an incline.

I had this happen to me in my 94 when I removed it in attempt to get better gas mileage.

Yes, i remove the front driveshaft, i guess that answer my question, thanks to all.

That's so funny, I just removed my front as well and now my 95 does the same thing! I love this forum. :lol2:

I don't know, I only did that as a temporary fix. My viscous coupler went out. :banghead:
