ZedEx 08-04-2005, 11:49 PM In Wilmington (Where I live) there is Port City Z Association. There's also the North Carolina Z Association... A hand full of other groups that I can't remember right now. -Wes mustangmann9 08-05-2005, 09:15 PM thats cool monkeymantn 08-14-2005, 09:42 PM We are called the TriangleZClub, and we meet at Bennigin's every first Thursday of the month. One day, I'll TT it after I blow up the original engine. I'm going to trade off the interior to suede and leather in my Aztec Red 90 n/a and give it to my dad. My 90 2+2 will be for sale in a couple of months. I'm getting ready to replace all the interior to suede (from tweed) and replace the leather seats as well as get a new stereo in it. I'm also getting ready to repaint it becuase it was never waxed and the paint is highly oxidized (no rust though). After that, I'm going to put it up for sale. I'll probably ask $6200 for it. Not bad considering it only has 117,xxx miles. It has only had 400 miles put on it since July 2001. After I sell it, I'm going to buy my buddy's 93 n/a 5spd. He's offered it to me for $3500. It's got custom white inteior, new suspension, JDM engine with ~100k (Body has close to 200k). I figure I can sell it for at least $5k after I clean it up. I'm not a member of specialty Z however. I've heard of them but don't know much about them. I got into Z's after my Isuzu Rodeo was totaled and I got my 93 model for $7500 with 83k on it. It's been an addiction since then. Also, I don't know if any of you are interested, but a buddy of mine in Raleigh does window tinting (extremely reasonable and the best I've ever seen) and invisible bra paint protection. He has a website www.tvpauto.com and you can see some of the expensive vehicles he works on. My 93 Z is on the site with the custom job on my Stillen GTZ-R3 bumper. He used to work for Johnson Lexus, but branched out on his own. No body else that I know of does the invisibile bra. He will cut custom to any car, and he also has many patterns for other vehicles as well. Regards, Chris monkeymantn 08-16-2005, 10:52 AM Wes, When and where do you guys meet in Wilmington? I'm live in Morehead City right now, but I'm still a member of the TriangleZClub. Our club does a lot of track events (VIR, Rockingham, Robeling), tech days, and dyno runs. We are always looking for clubs to participate with. I know currently we do a lot of things with Emerald City Z Club and the Triad Z Club, but we are always looking for more clubs to associate with. I've never heard of the Port City Z Club. Do you guys have a website? Please fill me in on the details. -Chris Stack240z 08-21-2005, 10:13 AM In Wilmington (Where I live) there is Port City Z Association. There's also the North Carolina Z Association... Stacy King, HPDE Coordinator for the Triangle Z Club - currently living in New Bern, NC. Like Chris, I haven't heard of the Port City Z Club - is the club active? If so, there are quite a few people who haven't heard of it, even IN Wilmington... and that area needs some club presence. Have you guys ever heard of the Cape Fear Z Club? Its been inactive for a few years now, but it was based in Wilmington and even hosted an annual event called the Cape Fear Z Blast that drew 30+ cars each year from three or four states - usually included a caravan and ferry ride. Anyway, there are lots of people in the state and in the region that are scratchin their heads wondering where everyone in Wilmington got off to.... so like Chris said... LET US KNOW!! LOL As far as the North Carolina Z Association... if you're talking about one in Raleigh from back in '98 or '99... well that was My baby that I started off of Twin Turbo.net ... it didn't go very far before we hooked up and joined forces with the Triangle Z Club and we've never looked back since. Hope to hear more from you guys and I'll try to check out the PZC boards and fill you guys in on our track events... keep an eye open for them! mustangmann9 09-01-2005, 11:39 AM yea i saw you guys (trianglezcar) at bennigins one night cause i used to work there vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
