I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and recently purchased a set of leather 10 way power seats off of eBay. The driver side plugged into the existing plug and everything works fine. I found the power seat harness for the passenger side under the carpet but when I plug it in the seat is not working. Do I need to manually run power to that harness or am I missing someting simple????

Thanks!!!

If the harness plugs in then it should be fine. it is probably the control switch, switch switches with th driverside and see fi it works with that switch.

I had this problem in my 94 my driverside one of the switches wouldn't work, so I switched the swiches and it worked fine. then I took the switch apart and cleaned all the conections and the tuned the contact points.

I would also make sure you didnt blow a fuse when adding the seat.

Question for both of you, how easy was it to do, if you dont mind me asking?
