Upgrading Seats / Wiring Problemronhoff 08-04-2005, 01:41 AM I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and recently purchased a set of leather 10 way power seats off of eBay. The driver side plugged into the existing plug and everything works fine. I found the power seat harness for the passenger side under the carpet but when I plug it in the seat is not working. Do I need to manually run power to that harness or am I missing someting simple???? Thanks!!! dksob81 08-04-2005, 08:03 AM If the harness plugs in then it should be fine. it is probably the control switch, switch switches with th driverside and see fi it works with that switch. I had this problem in my 94 my driverside one of the switches wouldn't work, so I switched the swiches and it worked fine. then I took the switch apart and cleaned all the conections and the tuned the contact points. ramairgto72 08-06-2005, 04:00 AM I would also make sure you didnt blow a fuse when adding the seat. Question for both of you, how easy was it to do, if you dont mind me asking? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
