Has anyone installed a supercharger? in a 5.2L or 4.7L or 5.9L

What did it cost you on part and labor?

What kind of gains did you achieve over stock?

I wonder if these are even suggested on a rig that will be seeing alot of mud bogs/holes. I will have to refine search for this.

What kind of boost #'s are you running? I would guess it would be low on something with compression around the 7 or 8 mark.

Those superchargers are like $4,000 Wow thats alot of money for a gain of only 100HP.

I went to www.jegs.com and saw their engine crates, 400 Horse Power V8 Crates for like 2 or $3k.

I have allready looked into blowing my 5.9 in my Jeep, the people at Vortec make a kit for the jeep 318 but not for the 5.9 even tho it fits in the same place on the engine. I have faxed and emailed them with questions, and all I got from them was "it will not fit" howver I found a guy on the net that did just that,, he did put a vortec on a 5.9 , all he did was use a different pulley.
