I guess I have enough for a start. I meant that in comparison to most people here on this site, especially I've seen someone who has 100+ 1/18 models, my collection is not much.....

The hobby is very expensive. You can easily spend thousands of dollars on cars and it will never be enough. You will always want more. Nice start on the collection.

Thanks for the comments guys! I actually started out with a few of the maisto and hot weels, and even motor max. While I think maisto is okay, hot wheels and motor max just totally didn't live up to my expectation, especially mm (sorry if i offend any collectors of those brands out there) since I was not really satisfied with models of those brands, I thought instead of getting a huge amount of lower quality models, i rather get fewer more expensive, but a lot better quality ones (Aa/Kyosho, especially Kyosho).

Yeah, I'd still be looking to get more good quality models, but hopefully I won't spend thousands on this hobby like sstrooper said ;)

A beginner, you say? Good start. I've been doing this for years now and don't have all that many.

I collect cars I like, I don't care who makes them. You'll see a GMP next to a Maisto on my shelves. I'm actually looking to get my first AutoArt soon, a 2003 Mach 1. Who makes that Murcielago? It's gorgeous!

Hey 99civichic, the murcielago is made by autoart. I think it's a nice model too and I got it at a bargain price of 49.99 at exoticar.com. I think you might want to try there if you are looking for an extensive selection of Aa models at good prices.
