They are colored semi-rigid lines. Or there is the brake master cylinder vacuum. Do you want to put in a permanent gauge or measure vacuum? turbine1999 08-01-2005, 08:42 PM i m going to install a permanent gauge ,the vacuum line is locate at left side or right side? can you show me ,thanks alot http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=501/361291Picture_052-med.jpg busboy4 08-01-2005, 11:17 PM Hi as my machine is a little different (96)I can't say I immediately can identify a vacuum line from your picture. Does your gauge come with any directions? Does it say to "splice" into and existing vacuum source? I suppose you could put it in line in the PCV line between the PCV valve and the intake. Anyone want to jump in here? I have not installed a vacuum gauge, just measured vacuum a time or two. CoachKarl 08-01-2005, 11:48 PM The vaccum system is ALWAYS drawn off of the intake side of an engine. Follow that 1/2" hose coming from the can behind your brakes master cylinder to the intake manifold, for a likely spot to tie into. Sorry, I may be a bit naieve, but why do you need a permanent vaccuum gauge? I thought this was a "turbocharger" type necessity. Karl vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
