Hi all,

I bought a 2005 Xterra S this past weekend.
I noticed that the plastic Foglight covers come off.

Has anyone tried putting Foglights from the SE model on the S
model? is the S model pre-wired for foglights.

I appreciate any feedback

Second, IMHO if your a bit handy with solder, shrink wrap, and electrical tape, you can mod aftermarket fogs to fit the X. Brighter and better looking, than trying to use the overpriced Nissan Genuine Parts.

I agree w/ Hattrick, save your money and buy some aftermarket stuff. I'm sure you can find some to fit. I doubt if they are pre-wired, but you should be able to run the wire & switches yourself.

That is exactly what I plan on doing with ours.

Where can I find aftermarket fogs for the 2005? I've looked on-line at a few places and can't find ones that'll fit the '05 specifically. Thanks.

They just screwed off pretty easily.

I saw some at wal mart that looked like they would fit in that hole. Very cheap, I just had some exterior stuff stolen so cheap is good because sometimes good is cheap for someone else. I installed a very sensitive alarm today.
