Modeling it after the 1:1, yes.. it will have the color changing interior.

Paint is Duplicolor Mirage "Purple/Green" which was closest to it, I'll get outside pics tomarrow.....

Once again I dont think it needs any shinning or polishing.

No, I didn't strip it, I sanded it down with 1000 grit so the primer had something to "bite" to. Yes I will paint the mirrors, It's far from being done.

I love the Maisto 03 cobras, I have 3 of them and I'm looking for more.

spray can, i got mine at autozone but walmart sells it too.

I have 3 of the '03 Cobras - silver and black coupes and a maroon convertible. I love 'em.

I've got a Black and Red coupe, and this silver, well now mystichrome vert, I'll get more pics in a few days. I need to polish the paint.

im thinking about buying this paint for my 1/24 plastic cars but my concern is if the paint would eat up the plastic or not. so does anyone know if the paint would work nicely on plastic

I've never had a problem with Duplicolor on any model, and I've done quite a few. I don't see why this one would cause problems. I think my Screaming Yellow '03 Cobra project just because a Mystichrome.....

I'm working on this exact car, but I'm going in a COMPLETE opposite direction, I'm making a Funny Car Dragster out of mine, I'll post pics if you want me to.

I found a handful of the '03 Cobra models at a hobby shop in Irving, they wanted around $30 for 'em. I got my two coupes at Walgreens for $10-$15! My 'vert was a Toys-R-Us mark up at $20. I love seeing my models get expensive in stores, makes me feel like I made a good investment!

Great match to fords mystic made a cobra model with the same paint kit. My uncle owns an actually 96 cobra limited edition with the mystic paint job. almost identical.

Inproper prep causes the chipping. Did you mysticoat the seat inserts like on the original Mystic Cobra?

yes.. i haven't worked on this car in ages.. it's still in the wetsand stage.. ill continue it someday
