does anyone know where the chime assembly is located in a 00' impala? i cant find it.

If it's like the newer ones, with the RDS system, the chime is the driver's side front door speaker. The radio sends it the signal to chime when certain conditions are met (door ajar, low fuel, parking break on, etc.).
