Gordon Murray came to us with a problem, he needed a 6 speed transverse transaxle to fit behind a V12 engine, fuel tank, and centrally-mounted driver, yet with a wheelbase smaller than that of a NSX! A transaxle with unheard of dimensions. Peter and Patrick Weismann brain stormed the initial design features of the compact transaxle, with Patrick rising to the challenge.....
