It drives very well & even has enough power to smoke the rear wheels. TommySS 07-29-2005, 04:46 PM VERY nice ! I'm jealous ! PeteA216 07-30-2005, 01:34 AM very nice! Yeah, a 350 better have the balls to smoke the tires :p kahjdh 08-03-2005, 12:42 AM That car has a 305 doesnt it? It said 5.0L on the build sheet didnt it? Cyrix_2k 08-03-2005, 11:08 AM Yes, it only has a 305 :( RamAir81 08-03-2005, 10:57 PM Wow, that is a good looking car for the price you got it for. That,s a keeper, the first model with fuel injection and the body looks great with no rust. Ramair PeteA216 08-06-2005, 01:30 AM Oh a 305.... my bad. My car's got a 305, but it has different valve covers. I forgot though that in 87 they changed the bolt pattern on the heads on all of the small block Chevys. Speaking of smokin' the tires The only time I can ever do that is during a brake stand (pictured below) or when making a right hand turn. (it fish tails on a lefthand turn) http://www.freewebs.com/petea/capriceburnout.JPG Cyrix_2k 08-11-2005, 06:40 PM Mine will smoke them around %50 of the time if I floor it from a dead stop, but you have to remember I have an open-rear and P205/75R15's, so that's not saying much. I really want to get Posi 3:73's... I have the stock 2:56's and it shifts into 2nd @ 50mph when it's floored... Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
