Tennessee Underglow.J30Archer 07-27-2005, 09:15 PM Jebus Cripes!!!! I need to know if underbody light kits are legal in Tennessee. I have looked all over the tennessee motor vehicle section of state laws. I cannot find any law that deals with excess lighting on cars. Partly do to short attention span and big words. Any information someone could give me I will gladly give you a high five next time you are around Nashville. --------- Straight out the Dirty Dirty honda_racing101 08-04-2005, 02:26 PM Why do you even want underglow neons? Can you say RICE? J30Archer 08-06-2005, 12:52 AM Why do you even want underglow neons? Can you say RICE? Yes... In fact I said it right now. Welp, lets see. Since Underglow is the only cosmetic modification that I have done except for my headlamps. I really don't think that it is considered Rice. You know it is the little Illegals that give all that shit a bad name. Plus, I don't go to Autozone and load up on the APC stuff. I don't have a big wing on the back of my car to give me better traction for when I am going 213 MPH. I don't have a cheap muffler from APC. I don't have anything on my car that is unnecessary except for the underglow. What I do have is a sedan that runs low 14's. It's not great but it is at least a start. I have more money invested in the preformance of my car than the looks. You may think it is rice. I think it is rice when it is on a shit car, or it is installed very carelessly. It isn't big flashy and doesn't change colors. It is plain white. can you say full of hate? honda_racing101 08-09-2005, 11:25 AM Neon is still rice regardless of what car you put it on. And your 98 accord runs low 14s huh? Let me see a slip then. I don't care if its just white, its still underglow neon, and its still rice. siege911 08-10-2005, 12:00 AM Hey, how 'bout we answer his question instead of telling him that he's wrong? I believe that underbody neons are not street legal, so you can't drive with them, in any state... they're just for off-road use, but most of the time it depends on how hateful your local pd is. J30Archer 08-13-2005, 04:08 PM Thank You for your input Siege. Honda Racing worry about your own damn car. Im not a damn ricer. I don't pull up to red lights revving my engine or run my Automatic transmission from first gear all the way into 6k rpms. So unless you know me or my car how do you have the right to say that I am rice. You can't tell me that you didn't say my car was rice, because from the way you are speaking I can tell your mentallity is "Ricer mod=ricer car". There is no clear cut definition for rice, it is only interpretation and opinion. Don't judge me pig, I only asked a question. J30Archer 08-13-2005, 04:11 PM Thank You for your input Siege. (police light color) most kits have a little switch so if you know there are alot of police around, just turn em off. sardonic_ninny 06-29-2006, 07:29 PM i live in nashville and i actually went to the government building Its illegal for them to be red or blue. White is often thought to be illegal but they dont really do anything about it also any flashing strobing or anything like that is also illegal. If you want solid green purple orange yellow aqua etc your A Okay. But the white might get you into trouble. keep in mind, cops can give you a ticket for whatever they want to really. Smart cops know white is okay dumb ones dont and they'll give you a ticket regaurdless vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
