Well, for those of you biting your nails in anticapation (which I assume is few, but still there), I raced my buds Kompressor tonight, with expected results. I also got two other kills, which, for a Tuesday night, is pretty rare.

Anyways, I got back from New Orleans on Monday, and spent the night recovering from a five day long drink athon, where I almost died because a dumb bitch in a Highlander t-boned my freinds Focus (and totaled both cars, and tried to blame us, in one of the few moments I wasn't drunk or otherwise fucked up), and called my buddy, and asked him if he wanted to race. He asked why Tuesday, and I was like, well, cops aren't usually out looking for racers on Tuesday, so he agreed, and drove out to meet me after work. I got out at about 10:30, and the road that goes by my store, is, as anticipated, empty. We catch a red, and he revs a few times, and I just slowly bring it up to about 2500rpm while holding down the brake. Light goes green, and we both punch it. Off the line, he holds with me ok, with me getting just about a nose on him. We stay pretty close with me inching on him till about 70ish, when I started pulling harder. I take it up to 115, and shut down about a length or so up.

Appearently, this got the attention of the local hard core racer boys (read, ricers sans job that don't need to get up early in the morning and waste gas cruising around on a Tuesday night) in a Celica with the factory body kit and exhaust (probably just a can) and a Tib GT. Now, I know this Tib GT pretty well. I've raced, and beat, this guy three times, and my other bud's Lexus ES300 pulled it too. My freind had pulled off at the last intersection to head back home, so it was me, the Celica next to me, and the GT behind him.

Anyways, the guy in the Celica (who would later claim it was a GTS with a full exhaust...guess Vip09 is the only GTS driver in the world who can get those things to run 14s...) revs a few times, and I rev back, quickly making sure I get back into drive, seeing as I had a rather embarising loss with a neutral rev situation. Anyways, light goes green, and I punch it, and pull decently on both cars off the light, shutting down when the Celi flashes his highbeams, at around 110.

At the next light, he asked me what I had done to my car, and I told him just a CAI, and he said it was BS becuase he had raced an I/H/E/C 325i and walked it. I told him it was probably a 318 with a bad driver or worn motor, and he told me that "his GTS" would walk my BMW. I was like...well, why don't you do it again, and he said, naw, his friend in the Tib wants to race me. I just laugh, and when the light goes green, I fly off, and the Tib jumps out, and tries to catch up, but it never did. I grab the next turn to take me home, and call it a night.

The fourth race (yay for reverse chronoligical order!) happened Thursday night on my way home from work. I had to get up early the next morning for my flight, and was in no real mood to race, but I had too. I was taking the scenic route home after an anoying day (I asked for a morning shift or a day off so I could pack...they gave me a closing shift), when a silverish Prelude (one of the more recent ones, I assume) flew by me. He had an exhaust, and I was generaly annoyed, and he was holding just in front of me. I wanted that noise to go away. So I punch it up next to him, and look over. Driver (a fairly attractive female) gives me a look, and then points to her horn and holds up three fingers. So, she wants me to honk her horn and giver her three fingers (THE SHOCKER!)...well, maybe not, but anyways...

I kinda nod, and she honks. Around the second honk, I kinda realise what is gonna happen, and notice we're going 50, and I'm in fourth...eek. I double down (hopefully), right as she gets the thrid honk, so she gets a brief jump on me. I wanted her to jump on me, not infront of me...

I grab third, and end her pull...and start to pull pretty hard on her. Fly by her doing 70, take it up to 115 when I let off about two lengths, maybe a few more, up. I let off, she pulls up next to me, and she gives me a thumbs up. I wink over, and we play a bit of cat and mouse through light traffic before I broke of, flashed my high beams, and headed back home.

Do you post your losses or try and race anything quick? I guess I am biased against BMWs since I am spending too much time here in Germany and every other car is a BMW... but those are all weak, and the Kompressor could have been anything.. be more specific.. was type of Mercedes was it, and what engine size? Its pretty easy to tell.. just like on BMWs... the size of the engine is in the name of the car.....

He told us what the merc was in his last post....it was either a C230 or a C240...I think we settled on a C240 K

and you obviously knowabout the price of gas in Europe and how not everybody can afford a 540 with gas prices...and performance is the price they pay...

Cassies man nice kill on the Merc, we all knew he had it coming...and im pretty sure that guy was bsing on the GTS, cause I think a GTS with a decent driver could take you, but nice kill either way...and why didn't you talk 2 the girl after you beat her? mabe she knows a thing or 2 about cars

I'll race just about anything if I want to see it in action, and yes, I do post my losses whenever I feel nesacery. For example, I didn't post about the loss today I had against a G35, because I knew I wouldn't win, and with all due respect, the G35 isn't exactly all that of an uncomon car. However, when I raced the Lambo, SL65 AMG, and other really awesome cars, I do. If I loose to a sleeper, I post it. I also don't post just every kill I have. If I did, I would have a kill record that would make profesional racers jealous.

and as soon as he gets up here again we're going at it again cuz i am still sure he can smoke me

some nice kills, i remember when i beat a v6 tib a while ago. It stood no chance what-so-ever. We were on the highway, he was tailgating me so i dropped the hammer and left him in the dust within seconds.

Elchico...I don't think I would smoke you, but I think I would do alot better, know that I'm really starting to get the dynamics of getting off the line quick in my car down. My big hope is that I can grab the Dinan software before I get outa here to go back up to school.
