I need to change out all the pads on a 97 JGC. Anyone have recommendations of a good quality brake pad to buy? Anyplace online sell good pads?

Also, any tips for a DIY install?

Thanks

Sir, 5 months ago I replaced my 4 rotors and padson my 97 JGC. I purchased Brembro replacement rotors and EBC Greenstuff pads from Tirerack.com. The rotors are a huge improvement over OEMs. I rust proofed them using Por products. But, stay away from the pads. Their claim is low dust but they do produce a considerable amount of dust. You might want to consider a ceramic pad.

Were those Brembo rotors slotted/drilled???

I've had good luck with the napa premium and wagner pads. I'm using the napa rotors now and they are good.

I highly recomen the Brembo rotors and the Bendex SUV pands. I don't think you can find a better brake pad than the Bendex, and you can but them @ Parts America and Checker Auto
