Ok fellas heres a good one.

Well I replaced my Wheel bearings on my 94 ZJ. While doign so I noticed the passengerside CV boot was torn, did not replace just yet. Got everything put back together and had a real loud and annoying clicking noise, would happen while turning (not all the time) and sometimes while pulling forward or backwards (but mostly while turning). Also had a problem with the ABS (no light came on tho) just when I was slowing down I would get down to about 5 MPH and the ABS would kick in a lil bit and sometime it would get real annoying a would do it while driving slowly. so I cleaned all my ABS sensors and Ring tone gears and now for the most part it is gone, I still have a lil feed back while slowing down (around 5MPH).

I replaced the torn CV boot, took it apart cleaned all the grease out and didn't notice anything wrong with it, put it back together and still have the same problem. What could be causing my CLICKING/CLANKING noise?

Also, Just had my first experience with DEATH WOBBLE. I doubt if I will find an exact fix for this one tho.

Sometimes there can be problems when changing the boot and grease, if the parts in the CV joint aren't reassembled in the exact same order and position they were in originally. Thats why I usually just replace the axle with a rebuilt when the boot goes.

By the time I clean it up the way I think it should be and pay attention to the parts location, I can have the new axle installed and almost back together which is why shops usually don't replace the boot unless they do the split boot in the vehicle thing.

Not sure how the ABS figures into the situation tho....
