1993 Intrepid problem!

I have a 1993 Chrysler interpid, and at any given point of driving or stopped at a red light, the cruise control light will come on and the engine stalls, but you can start it up again right after.. I really need to get this fix, does any one have any suggestions?? Thanks

try this, turn your ignition key 3xs ending in the on position. Watch your check engine light, it will flash codes to you indicating if there are any faults stored in memory. If you see the check engine light flash twice then flash another 4xs, that's a code 24. If all you get is a code 12 & 55, that means 12-battery has been disconnected within the last 50 start-ups. Code 55- End of message code. From what you describe sounds like you have a problem with your EGR system. If you have no codes, I'd next check the EGR system, possibly the EGR valve itself.
