Bad engine in 2005 Forenza

I recently purchased a new 2005 Forenza (May 05). Last thursday 7/21/05 the engine died with a total of 2347 miles clocked on it? Currently the vehicle is back at the dealership waiting for the new motor to arrive. Has anyone had a similar problem occuring with their Forenza?
