so this guy offered a trade for his volks jetta 94 with 250k miles on it... i just looked at him thinking "is he serious?".. well ive got a job now and ive got about 600$ saved up so far and by the end of next week it should jump to 1200$, my car needs just about every tune up imaginable. cant wait to have these things fixed, i would rather keep my car than sell it even though there is a 91tt for 3gs in the paper and i was asking 3500 for my beat up 90 ... guess thats why no one ever got serious about buying it

or maybe because your car is in terrible condition and for the tt to be even less it would have to be too. not trying to be mean
so are you gunna fix it and keep it ?
fix it and sell it ?
or just sell it with a blown head gasket and etc... ?

im oging to keep the car and fix it to be moderately good. im not going to put much into aesthetics simply because i dont have the cash, but i want a reliable car and something thats not a choir to drive like how it is right now .... sweating with no power steering and squeeking when in a parking lot just sucks, shes my work in progress now

IMHO I think that you might save money if you payed a little more money and bought another one that doesn't need so much work.

do you not value a car for more than a piece of metal with paint, ive hard this car for about 6 months but i love it and together we will get over this.... i could get a hotter girl friend if i payed a little more too.. but thanks for the recomendation, i just dont consider my car expendable, by the way would any of you know where to get a driver side t-top preferably that aztec red that z32's come in

he has had the car for a while...he never had the money to fix the car as things went bad. teh car naturally developed lots of big problems instead of minor small problems.

rendertrust: i am sitting here trying to figure out why you would buy an AC compressor and such items instead of fixing the blown headgasket or major engine malfunctions. i would think that driving the car would be mroe important than cold air...:D

gasket is fine according to my mechanic(half sisters uncle). the leaking coolant was due to a worn water pump, still i cant figure out how the coolant would have some oil in it that time all the coolant leaked all over the parking lot.... my mechanic came to his conclusion on just looking at the color of the oil so dont know how reliable his word is

yeah, i dont know how reliable his word is either... is this the type of uncle that is named Earl and works in a barn with a port-a-potty 50 feet away??? the one who wears suspenders with no under shirt with a red cloth sticking out if his pocket with a limp in the left leg? the one who will tell you anything so he can get back to his seat on a milk crate with a beer in his left hand?

^ lol.... render, did you ever think about looking through a junk yard for parts??? I know that they may not be new but if you find a good part, you'll save some money... just my 2 cents, but I hope everything works out for ya.
