my 87 taurus turn signals will not work at all--i done checked all the fuses-they are good-i replaced the turnsignal/hazard switch--the 4 way flashers work-but not the turn signals

Are you getting power to the turn signal switch? Have you tested the relay?

It might be the multi function switch which is the actual handle that swtches the blinkers ,wipers,bright lights on and off.etc

Time to look at your wiring diagram and follow the circuit and test each component. Don't forget to check the grounds.

I had to replace the relay in my old 89 Taurus wagon I had, its located up under the dash just to the left of the steering column, you have to reach up in there. The relay costs about $12 if I recall. I lost all turn signals and emergency flashers until I replaced the relay
