Two kills: 911 Carrera Conv't. and VW GTi2000LS1Z28 07-25-2005, 12:47 AM I was on the 2 freeway going South, away from Los Angeles. I had just merged onto the freeway from Alvarado Street. I see a silver 911 Carrera Conv't. to my right. I got on it to move over to the fast lane, as there is a 3 lane split just up ahead. He gets on it to follow in tow. I could hear his engine screaming in my ear, but he was losing distance rather quickly once I got to the top of 3rd (I have a Z06 cam in my WS6, so the power came on at 4000-6000 rpms). I'm beating him by over a car when some ass^*le in a minivan went into my lane. Dunno why he did it, other then the fact that it looked intentional (The guy was driving 55 mph). I slammed on the brakes, and almost hit his rear end. The guy in the Porsche was in the other lane, so he just went by. I tried to get the minivan owner's attention by honking the horn (I honestly wanted to punch the guy in the face). He wouldn't even look over at me. Go figure. Even funnier was up ahead another dude cut me off, and when I passed him he flipped the bird on me. Like you just cut me off, you shouldn't be flipping me off. Is it a wonder people are getting shot on the freeway??? Anyways, a couple days afterwards i'm on the 210 going Eastbound to Pasadena. I see a VW GTi following me from behind, pretty much tailgating me. I got on it, and he did the same. I stayed in it, and saw that he was definitely on it. His car was actually keeping up. WTF!!!!! He was only a couple cars behind (Like maybe 3 from my bumper). He got side by side with me, and we both took off. I could hear his turbo screaming, so I know he wasn't stock. I put a couple of cars on him by the top of 4th (Probably over 120 mph). His car was definitely fast. All in all pretty fun. Igovert500 07-25-2005, 12:54 PM nice kills. And sucks about those idiots cutting you off. I absolutely hate when people fail to use their rearview mirrors and minds. Sometimes you just have to wonder what the hell people are thinking when they switch lanes without looking. TatII 07-25-2005, 01:01 PM nice kills it would've nicer if you you added the mini van driver adn the guy who cut you off on your kills list literally. drftk1d 07-25-2005, 02:47 PM cool stuff, i wanna race a porsche sometime King Of Crunk 07-25-2005, 04:09 PM daaayyymn, that minivan driver probably wasn't a fan of the street racing...but that's no reason to kill a guy, especially a dude that drives and F-Body..hehe...lol tat, i was thinking that, you just said it first... 2000LS1Z28 07-25-2005, 10:36 PM nice kills it would've nicer if you you added the mini van driver adn the guy who cut you off on your kills list literally. :lol Yeah I think he might've been hoping that I slammed into the back of his minivan. There are alot of lawsuits in L.A. (I should know, I work for a family law firm). He could've fetched a pretty big penny if I hit him. I need to be more careful next time. danno_SS 07-26-2005, 12:18 AM soo much anger ... so little hwy. Kudos on the kills and even more kudos on actually getting a Porsche to run you. Those drivers are usually more timid than your mid-life crisis Vette owners. lamehonda 07-26-2005, 12:41 AM Don't expect to be popular with the locals if you are racing. Might I ask what the speed limit is where you were racing? 2000LS1Z28 07-26-2005, 01:02 AM You must not have read the post, Lamehonda, I was on the freeway (65 mph). lamehonda 07-26-2005, 01:51 AM Uh, it doesn't say 65 anywhere does it? I read it, but I am entirely unfamiliar with your area. 90redgt 07-27-2005, 01:42 AM I agree, the speed limit for hwy's are different where ever you go. it's 75mph in AZ. Vettribution 07-27-2005, 06:55 AM Damn, nice kills.. whats are the specs on your car.. and have you took it the track yet? 2000LS1Z28 07-28-2005, 02:50 AM Specs on the car are as follows: 2001 Trans Am WS6 SLP U/D Pulleys Whisper Lid Thunderracing Catback Panhard Bar Lower Control Arms Z06 Cam/Springs Near stock it ran a 13.7 sec. 1/4 mile at 104 mph, at a 1300 foot elevation track.
