Front 12kg,Rear 8kg spring for 94 Accord Ex very bounce or not?~thank you~pgm250 07-25-2005, 12:32 AM Front 12kg,Rear 8kg spring for 94 Accord Ex very bounce or not?~thank you~ :uhoh: BullShifter 07-28-2005, 01:28 AM Depends, generally yes it will be a tight ride. A lot has to do with the struts being used with the springs. SilverY2KCivic 07-28-2005, 04:46 AM I have 10/6 (F/R) on my Civic, and it can be very bouncey, even the original 8/4 of my coilovers was. I wouldn't go any higher than that for the street. eckoman_pdx 08-15-2005, 03:40 AM I have custom rate and length 550 inch/lb front and 450 rear liner rate GC coilovers, paired with nuespeed spec koni yellows (stiffer valving, 5 way perch versus 3 way, 20mm shorter shaft). I don't find it bouncy at all, nor too stiff. I find it nice and comfy, and actually plan to go stiffer as my shocks can more than handle it. of course, when I was younger and stupider I drove around on bumpstops for 2.5 years, so pretty much this is like luxery to me....hahaha...that's why I don't mind going stiffer. Seriouly though, I can't say how it would ride with other coilovers shock/coilover combo's or full coilovers. But I can tell you mind is not very bouncy, and I find it quiet a nice ride and it handles great. Of course, my limits and perferences are most likely different than yours, but several people tell me it's not that bad. I spent a long time researcxhing this though (ask jackassi and silvery2kcivic bout that) before I deiceded on this set-up, called many manufactuers, etc. It works great for me, but it honestly isn't stiff enough, so I'm going stiffer. I don't know how you'll like it, but I'll always make sure the set-up is propely matched adn I won't go any softer....that's just me though. :2cents: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
