CUSCO or JIC? and Where can I find model number on JIC coilover?

Hi, someone is selling me a secondhand Jic coilover, but since I have very limited idea on the product, any help would be greatly appreciated:

(1) I used to drive a WRX with CUSCO suspension, it is great, can someone give me an OVERALL idea of comparison between CUSCO and JIC please.

(2) Where can I find model number on the shock? Since I have never seen it before I have tried to compare the one he wants to sell with those ones on the web, but I cannot really see the differences (in pictures) between models of Jic: SF-1, SA-1, FLT-2, and FLT-A2. So, is there a model number written somewhere on each shock?

Thanks.

I dont think youll find anyone with a comparision on the cusco since they done make it for our cars. On the JIC, It should be a whole strut/coil over set up and *I belive* the struts are rebuildable. If your just getting the coilovers, Id pass on the deal and get a whole set up. From memory on previous posts, the SF is a street coil, SA is more track oriented, and the other two are pure race set ups....dont know if this answers your question but its the best I can do.
