GReddy EVO exhaust for P11 G20G22DET 07-21-2001, 04:55 PM Ok, Greddy finally released it and they actually called me personally to tell me to try to move a lot of them. So here's the deal, single orders, $540 shipped which is a pretyt good deal and if I can get more people, the discount's higher! Have these readily in stock so let me know. Thanks! slickkedar 07-21-2001, 07:12 PM is it a cat-back?? G22DET 07-21-2001, 10:09 PM yep, it's a full line exhaust! Sleepy 07-22-2001, 12:03 AM does anyone have it installed and how does it sound is it a single or a dual outlet MOMOG20 07-22-2001, 01:13 AM it's single!!! my friend has one.. it sounds really deep and loud... NICE!!! but he's car is civic i don't know about G yet... G-Forces 07-22-2001, 01:24 AM Hey luke can you dig up some pics of it? Also what the piping diameter? 2.5" or 2.25"? Polished SS or just regular SS? I'm assuming it's SS. Also I'm assuming all the hangers etc. are lining up. Hey if Greddy want's to send me a promotional system give them my addy I'll post the findings on my site! :D:D:D G22DET 07-22-2001, 06:25 PM haha...no such luck Jason! the pipe is 70mm and the tip is 4inches like all EVO exhausts. the sound of it is VERY nice/quiet (with deep tone) and, being Greddy, the construction is top notch. it's 100% street legal, even in CA, and it's SS so a pretty nice unit. i'll post pics soon. but anyone interested? keep in mind it's a full line exhaust and will produce actual HP compared to all the aftermarket mufflers that most of us have on. G-Forces 07-22-2001, 10:45 PM No promo units? Damn it! Anyway 70mm diameter? That looks like 2 3/4" to me. Again someone correct me if I'm wrong. b-b00gie 07-22-2001, 10:50 PM the Evo's come in 60 or 70mm piping i think... but anyhow, the tip is 115mm which is 4.5 inches InfinAge 07-24-2001, 10:01 PM Hey, Here is a pic of the Evo exhaust that I got on Greddy.com, it's just a general pic of what it looks like. InfinAge 07-24-2001, 10:03 PM I would love to get this exhaust, but I really want to get a dual tipped exhaust. But I hear that the Greddy's are really quiet and actually give performance. kenchan 07-24-2001, 11:54 PM yeh, i kinda like the dual outlet myself, but for performance, the single would be good too, I guess. :D wonder if that exhaust will not lightup that serice engine light.. hummmm:confused: G22DET 07-25-2001, 03:59 AM thanks for posting the pic...yep, that's what they look like..it sounds very nice too, i have it on my car already. Ken, all greddy exhausts are 50state legal so no lights would come on :) some of you already know the story but Greddy came by the other day and dumped 17 exhausts to me and ask me to sell them...so basically if you guys are interested, i can ship it out very fast and if we get more people, the price woudl drop as well. let me know, thanks! Sleepy 07-25-2001, 02:46 PM How many horsepower gain do you think you got when you installed it ? G22DET 07-26-2001, 03:08 AM i dont have a dyno in my garage so i couldnt tell you..usually 5-6extra hp is found on typical full line exhaust set ups. G22DET 07-28-2001, 03:21 PM anyone interested??? seems like only b00gie is getting this one? G-Forces 07-28-2001, 08:33 PM I'm interested but your timing is a little off. :( Like I said on the phone I just spend a couple hundred to quiet down my current setup some. Unfortunatly I'm not in the market for a new exhaust for a couple years...but I'll most likely get the Greddy in 70mm trim. b-b00gie 07-28-2001, 08:33 PM I'm sure you'll be moving some once i install my kit and bolt on the new exhaust ;) Chavez 08-01-2001, 01:56 PM :smoker2: Aiight G22DET u da man! G22DET 08-11-2001, 01:45 PM yeh, the exhaust is very nice...and it sounds GREAT!!! very quiet compare to the apex that i had...VERY quiet hehe...i cant wait to hear what it'll sound like after my turbo!!!! i can also notice the performance gain, revs at 3k or higher pick up a lot quicker and that's compared to the apex that i had...i dont have dyno figures but you can definitely feel the improvement. when y ou get tired of the aerospeed Ken, just get the Greddy ones! anyone interested? i still have 9 in stock. let me know G-Forces 08-12-2001, 11:21 AM Originally posted by G22DET i dont have dyno figures but you can definitely feel the improvement. when y ou get tired of the aerospeed I want charts and graphs and a full analysis of the performance gains at varying rpms, speeds and throttle positions! :D:D:D Ken, just get the Greddy ones! anyone interested? i still have 9 in stock. let me know Shoot only 9! I won't find out until next friday or so. G20Tat 09-01-2001, 12:22 PM so, so tempting. :) Would you consider this the top unit and what's the difficulty of installation? b-b00gie 09-01-2001, 02:29 PM Top notch!! I rate it 5 out of 5 stars!! :D All you need to do is remove a couple bolts and you will need a hack saw to cut off your old exhaust (it just makes it easier though not needed) You will need a lift though, dont use jack stands. Or you can just go to a muffler shop and pay them $30 to install it, only takes 20 minutes... Sleepy 09-01-2001, 08:33 PM 5 stars for sure blkghst3 09-07-2001, 01:03 AM no evo exhaust for p10s?????:D Sleepy 09-07-2001, 01:41 AM no but they do make a different seris for the p10 mx heres a pic of one they have on the site ty423 09-07-2001, 04:45 PM I like how the MX looks and the SP...I don't really like the power extreme or the Evo Sleepy 09-07-2001, 04:50 PM the evo's are great it's just the tip is a little large for me b-b00gie 09-07-2001, 08:21 PM Actually, I totally felt the same way and it almost kept me from buying it. When I first put it on, I was like wow, thats too big for my tastes. But after a few days it grew on me (and my friends). Now I cant picture anything else on it. It's seriously not as bad as you would think... wickedG20 09-07-2001, 08:39 PM I dont think the tip is that big compared to other ones such as the one on tony's car. It looks like a nice mid-sized tip from the picture of luke's car. :) ty423 09-07-2001, 10:45 PM If you think that my tip is big...I think you should research alittle bit on the N-1...I thought that the Evo tips were big but looking at the cataloge we both have the same 115mm tips... v_knot 09-17-2001, 12:09 PM Gents, and the respectful ladies..... Congrats on the purchase of the EVO exhaust system, I myself want one but the financial situation does not allow me at this point. I hope Luke will have some in stock 2 months time down the road....(Luke, btw, slick looking car!) Question for you all. Is there an under skid pad/plate available out there that I can buy to protect the undercarriage from contacting salt, ice and other yukkies from Canada? Is there a place that do custom design for this? Thanks in advance....... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
