Hey luke can you dig up some pics of it? Also what the piping diameter? 2.5" or 2.25"? Polished SS or just regular SS? I'm assuming it's SS. Also I'm assuming all the hangers etc. are lining up.

the pipe is 70mm and the tip is 4inches like all EVO exhausts.
the sound of it is VERY nice/quiet (with deep tone) and, being Greddy, the construction is top notch. it's 100% street legal, even in CA, and it's SS so a pretty nice unit.
i'll post pics soon. but anyone interested? keep in mind it's a full line exhaust and will produce actual HP compared to all the aftermarket mufflers that most of us have on.

Anyway 70mm diameter? That looks like 2 3/4" to me. Again someone correct me if I'm wrong.

the Evo's come in 60 or 70mm piping i think...

but anyhow, the tip is 115mm which is 4.5 inches

Hey, Here is a pic of the Evo exhaust that I got on Greddy.com, it's just a general pic of what it looks like.

I would love to get this exhaust, but I really want to get a dual tipped exhaust. But I hear that the Greddy's are really quiet and actually give performance.

yeh, i kinda like the dual outlet myself, but for performance, the single would be good too, I guess. :D wonder if that exhaust will not lightup that serice engine light.. hummmm:confused:

Ken, all greddy exhausts are 50state legal so no lights would come on :)
some of you already know the story but Greddy came by the other day and dumped 17 exhausts to me and ask me to sell them...so basically if you guys are interested, i can ship it out very fast and if we get more people, the price woudl drop as well.

How many horsepower gain do you think you got when you installed it ?

i dont have a dyno in my garage so i couldnt tell you..usually 5-6extra hp is found on typical full line exhaust set ups.

I'm interested but your timing is a little off. :( Like I said on the phone I just spend a couple hundred to quiet down my current setup some. Unfortunatly I'm not in the market for a new exhaust for a couple years...but I'll most likely get the Greddy in 70mm trim.

I'm sure you'll be moving some once i install my kit and bolt on the new exhaust ;)

yeh, the exhaust is very nice...and it sounds GREAT!!! very quiet compare to the apex that i had...VERY quiet hehe...i cant wait to hear what it'll sound like after my turbo!!!!
i can also notice the performance gain, revs at 3k or higher pick up a lot quicker and that's compared to the apex that i had...i dont have dyno figures but you can definitely feel the improvement. when y ou get tired of the aerospeed Ken, just get the Greddy ones!

just got my evo today was going to wait until this weekend to install it but once i opend the box and saw how good it looked i couldnt wait called my buddy whos dad has a shop with a hydralic lift got it up dropped the exhaust got the evo put on toke about 30 minutes top i love it nice melow sound not that ricey sound noticed a difference in power to im hoping it will improve my gas mileage some as high as its gettin again

Top notch!! I rate it 5 out of 5 stars!! :D

All you need to do is remove a couple bolts and you will need a hack saw to cut off your old exhaust (it just makes it easier though not needed)

You will need a lift though, dont use jack stands.


Or you can just go to a muffler shop and pay them $30 to install it, only takes 20 minutes...

I like how the MX looks and the SP...I don't really like the power extreme or the Evo

the evo's are great it's just the tip is a little large for me

Actually, I totally felt the same way and it almost kept me from buying it.


When I first put it on, I was like wow, thats too big for my tastes. But after a few days it grew on me (and my friends).


Now I cant picture anything else on it. It's seriously not as bad as you would think...

I dont think the tip is that big compared to other ones such as the one on tony's car. It looks like a nice mid-sized tip from the picture of luke's car. :)

If you think that my tip is big...I think you should research alittle bit on the N-1...I thought that the Evo tips were big but looking at the cataloge we both have the same 115mm tips...

Congrats on the purchase of the EVO exhaust system, I myself want one but the financial situation does not allow me at this point. I hope Luke will have some in stock 2 months time down the road....(Luke, btw, slick looking car!)

Question for you all. Is there an under skid pad/plate available out there that I can buy to protect the undercarriage from contacting salt, ice and other yukkies from Canada? Is there a place that do custom design for this?
