I was thinking of buying a 2003 X Forester. This will be my very first car that I'm buying so can y'all tell me if this is a good choice. I just want a car that runs well and that will last me a long time without alot of mechanical problems (I know this is what everyone wants).

dood this is an execellent car for teenagers especially. it offers 5 star crash test ratings, outstanding reliability, and a rugged car that proves to be a fun to drive car maybe just with the turbo but i dunno lol and it can hold a shit load of cargo room. have u seen the back of this thing? thats atleast like what? 6 dead bodies lol hahahaha. check it out at autotrader.com or subaru.com seem like good ideas lol.

I just picked up an 05 (same body style) Forester X and I LOVE it!! I am hoping it will last me a while until school loans are paid off.

If you have the money, I'd go for it!
