i checked the pads and put some fluid in the master and disconnected batter but it is still there?

You will need to go to a shop that has a scanner that is capable of reading the ABS system. Post codes back and we can help you.

i have a 99 as well and noticed my abs light staying on as well. turns out that the ignition when starting stuck to far forward and caused the light to come on. i just turned it back towards me about half an inch with the engine still running and light went out immediately. dont turn it back to far though or you will kill the engine.
