Hubs won't lock?zarata 07-21-2005, 08:40 PM 95 z71 and when i throw it in 4 wheel drive low the light doesnt come on on the shifter case, and theres no dash light that says 4wd. The front driveshaft spins but when i try to climb a hill the only tires that spin are my rears and cant climb for ****. is there a trick to locking the hubs? i tried rolling it in at around 5 mph. or is there something wrong? Jeremy-WI 07-25-2005, 10:47 AM Your front axle actuator is probably toast or you have a bad fuse. You should be able to find info on diagnosing the problem by searching this forum or the chevy c/k, suburban, and tahoe forum zarata 07-28-2005, 01:26 AM well i looked at the fuses and noticed that there is a fuse for T case but there is no fuse in there. i tried sticking a fuse but it wouldnt stay in. am i suppose to have a t case fuse? Jeremy-WI 08-04-2005, 06:37 PM if you have the manual transfer case, you won't have a fuse for t-case, you should check for 12V at the front axle actuator plug when the transfer case is in 4X4, if you have power you probably need a new actuator Greywolf0723 02-25-2006, 07:26 PM If you get a new accuator, get the upgrade. It uses a better accuator and a spacer. You will have to run one wire to a brown wire above the T-case. It took me about 30-45 minutes to do the install. I bought it at the dealer for about $100. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
