unknown electrical problem

I was driving my 92 dodge caravan 3.3 liter to work and it suddenly stopped running, I thought it was that I ran out of gas so I got some in it and it would not start. The van had had a few problems before this incident, it would occasionally die on the freeway for just a second and then be fine again. Also, the van would occasionally not have working dash guages but almost always they worked.
I've tried to replace the sensor on the back of the tranny the crank position sensor??? that didnt' help, I then replaced the ecu in the airbox, that to did not help. I think the van is getting fuel because if you push the pressure release valve it has pressure from just turning it over.

Any ideas on what to look for next?
I put a scan tool on it and it read NOTHING!!! no faults.

Please help my wife needs something for the kiddos to ride in.

you could have either a faulty camshaft position sensor or your fuel pump is getting weak. You may have pressure in the fuel rail, but if they pump is weak, the fuel you are getting is just residual built-up pressure. Also, make sure your fuel filter isn't clogged and/or your air filter.

Check the alternator..........my 97 3.3L just stopped the other day (as it was driving down the road), and it turns out that the alternator just crapped out. May, or may not, be your problem, but it is a relatively easy (until you have to take it out) place to start. Good luck!

this might sound silly but i had the same problem with a 2000 chrysler stalling then starting ( sometimes i had to put my foot down on the gas heavily and then it would power up) and quitting gauges(the enginge light had been on for awhile and the code reader wouldn't readon my car). my dad had me put fuel injection cleaner in the gas tank and i have only been using chevron gas, amazingly it worked, ( it took a week of running the old fluid out) but the gauges are seemingly unrelated. i am still working on that and so far i've switched out all the relay's checked all the fuses and nothing has helped. i am taking it to an electrical shop in august they think there is a short in the relay box.
try the fuel injection cleaner and use better gas it could just be a plugged feul line. changing the filter is a little trickyer but that might work too. a chrysler dealer told me that an after market alarm that i didn't know was on my car (i bought it used) was usually the cause of electrical problems on these on voagers.

I still have this problem, i've replaced the cam and crank angle sensors and there is still no spark. Maybe my coil is bad? any suggestions?
