If you don't know, say so. If you think there's something he should know about it, educate him about it nicely.

I know a place that does it because my dad has to do RHD to LHD all the time to sell them.Anyway I am not gonna get into to that but they do LHD to RHD also and it cost from $5000 to $7000 U.S. they do a very good job though.

hrm.. southpaw huh? if you're going to spend that much money on just being able to "shift" with your other hand... i'd consider just bringing in a foreign car. Just get an ol' beater european classic and bring it in as a vintage car... they won't bother you (since it's not "from Japan" and HIGHLY connected to illegal street racing bullsh*t). Best of all you turn heads everywhere you go and you can always apply at the post office if you ever get laid off from your current job.
bottom line... unless your life depends on it.. i'd stick with the LHD... invest elsewhere.

i say waste of money just to be able to shift "better". now if your right arm was cut off i could see you considering this conversion but if you still have a right arm why waste all that money make your car hella faster w/ all the money then it wont matter quite as much how good your right hand shifting is unless you suck ass. or you should try auto

Just becaused he ask I will post soem info on it. For all those who have heard of Autoterminal where they import cars from Japan to the states, they are directly linked with the company that does the conversions. Depending on how fast they can get the parts, it will take about a month to get it done for 5g to 7g.

For the parts it will be easier to buy a front clip along with SR20DET (to be completely JDM tyte). The conversion does require some custom work and modifications. Don't think of it as a "drop it".
Good luck.
*There is a red convertible 240 in "Turbo & high tech preformance" that is converted to RHD and has a SR., maybe they say something about the conversion.
