Hi,

I have a 98 camry and the transmission fluid was change at 60k and now it is 120k so need to change again. I was checking the schedule and found DIFFERENTIAL FLUID. What is this fluid...is this same as transmission or different...Do it also need to be change with transmission or 1 is the subset of another....how often this fluid should be change?

Thanks

Differential fluid is ATF - Any dexron III compatible.
It's not exposed to lots of heat, not much wear. Normally it's never changed.

The specification is to change it with the transmission fluid - Every two years. (Yearly, if you're smart - yearly and adding an AUX cooler if you're a genius).
