So, I painted my Top Secret Skyline a not so secret color.

Now my problem is, I don't know what color to paint the wheels. I am using the stock TE37's and the gold doesn't look good under the green. So, should I go with a silver/gunmetal, black, or match the rims with the car color? Also, should the hood and spoiler be black, or should the be body color or something else?

Gunmetal centers, Polished silver lip.
Gold centers wouldn't look as bad.

Here are three different options. In order:
BBS RG346
Racing Hart CP-035
Volk TE37MAG

The gold doesn't look as bad as I thought it would, but the silver looks really nice too. I like the BBS and the Volk the best, but it's too hard to decide which to use. Questions, comments, suggestions, anything is welcome.

the third ones, i think Black spokes and a gold lip might look good

I'd go with the third wheels, and i'm with Feint Motion on the color, polished lip and gunmetal (or even black) center would look really good and give it a nice contrast

In real life you could order your TE-37's in any color.
I think that all bronze or gunmetal with a polished lip is good.

I kinda agree with what everyone else is saying here; since green has yellow in it, it does look pretty good with gold. Green & Gold is a common school color combo. However, the gold lip with black centers would be neat as well. Personally I don't like silver and green, it washes the green out a little. Chrome and green is okay, but not on that car. Blah blah, what color paint is that?? I've been searching for the right green for my first Tamiya...project I have planned.

Thanks for making me get off my ass and walk to the garage to check the number.

The color is TS-20 Metallic Green. It looks damn fine in the sunlight. It's so shinny, I just need to get some clear on it, then compound and wax.

I think I'm with y'all on this one, the TE37s, but I'm still not sure if I want gold or black centers. The lip will be silver I'm positive of that.

If you're going with silver lips, then do black centers. Silver and gold IMO would look funny.

So it's a Tamiya paint? What color primer etc did you use?

I painted the centers gold with model masters steel for the lip. It looks a bit different, but pretty cool under the body.

And, as requested, some outside pictures in which I nearly blinded myself with the shine off of this color. The pictures make it seem darker than it really is. The second one is pretty close to how it looks in the sun while you're squinting to make sure you don't run into the lawn chairs strewn about.
