My 97 Intrepid appears to have some electrical patterns. After turning a corner my check engine and Airbag lights comes on.Also I hear a funny hiss sound near passenger air bag location. I am unable to use electric windows or a/C or heater at that time. Is this a mapping sensor problem or just a sensor near a tire..

I seem to be having a similar problem with my '97 Intrepid. Sometimes when i start it the ABS and Airbag lights stay on and the fan for the a/c doesn't work. Also the electric windows do not work. If i restart the car a couple of times then it goes back to normal. Have any ideas on that?

fudd63, The hissing sound might be a vacuum line that is off one of the servo's on the Heating/AC Box. Cant offer any thoughts about the check engine and airbag lights other than you should have the car checked for fault codes.

taushak, it sounds like you have an Ignition Switch starting to go bad.
