I might be dropping the car soon about 1-2", but I have a problem. The splashguards. They are already low to the ground, if I lower the car, they will be really close to hitting every bump I think. I dont want to take them off because I dont want rust build up on the doors, especially in the winter. So what do you suggest?

LOL! I always forget that people in other places actually have to worry about the weather. ;)

Just my two cents: Don't lower your car more than an inch. You'll get a good chunk of the increase in handling without you car looking like there's anything particularly different. Yous splashguards should be okay with that. Part of that is my personal taste, though. I like sleepers. :D No one will suspect a thing...

nnnn...I wouldn't worry too much about the mud flaps going against snow and ice. I'm in chicago where it snows like 12inches sometimes overnight. despite that, I still put on some TEIN's this year to drop it about 40-45mm :D I do worry about going over big speedbumps though. i try to go around it as much as possible. those flaps seem to be pretty flexible and can withstand a lot of blow.

damn, the car looks so much cleaner without those splash guards! the lines don't get distorted. I wanna take mine off, but too many puddles here in chicago ruining a day's wash if I don't have it... my G's a commuter, so need to make some compromises here and there...:cool:

Hahaha first thing i did when i got home when i bought my car was remove those pos splash guards (they dont even work!!!). Also removed the front licence plate holder and put some screws in the hole's they drilled into my poor front bumper (My poor baby had no chance against that evil power drill). :devil:

Wow, it does look a lot better without the splash guards....i think im going to go and take them off right now.....is there any reason i shouldnt.....i mean, are there any adverse side effects??

:o Depends on were you live, weather can play havok on your paint especially them salty roads in the winter snow also sand can start to peel your paint on the highway especially in those sandy areas like highway's in the desert, can kill the paint.:bloated:

right, if helps keep weather off the car, especially small puddles, pebbles and salt in the winter time. there's a big difference having it on and not having it on, from my experience. in so california, don't need it never rains anyway. gahahahaha! :D

Where i live you dont get snow :p so the only problem is the small stone chips you get on the bumper
