89 LX 5.0 Brakes rattle over bumps until pressed

I have had a rattle in my brake system ever since i took it to firestone almost 4 years ago. I took it back to them the week after they replaced the brakes to have them figure it out. And they couldn't find any problems. I don't have any issues with my brakes not working, it's just an embarrassing loud rattle coming from under the car until I depress the brakes, even slightly and the rattle will stop. Any ideas?
89 LX 5.0 Convertable.

Some pads will be squeeky. The pads could be just loose enough to rattle around and when the brake caliper piston touches them ever so slightly it shuts them up.
