Best engine coatings?

Race engine builders' input would be very helpful. I hear a lot of "we use so-and-so's coatings exclusively," but I never seem to hear anyone (other than the manufacturers) tell be one coating is better than another. So some of you knowledgeable AF folks tell it like it is.

Who makes the best:
Dry film/metal-penetrating molybdenum/tungsten disulphide lubricant
Oil shedding Teflon-(or similar)base lubricant
Ceramic piston crown and/or cylinder wall insulation coating
Heat exhanging coatings - engine internal and external
Ceramic header/general exhaust coating
Anyone who has had experience with multiple makers could probably tell me what I need to know. I get the impression that Swain is probably leading in most of these, but I'm asking just to make sure. I am very interested in finding heat exchanging coatings for piston skirts in order to fully take advantage of oil squirters, and to try to improve performance of radiators/intercoolers and oil coolers. Thanks in advance.
