Ok I have a haynes manual for my miata and it doesnt say how many clicks you should hear for the parking brake.if I pull up on the brake when im moving ,should the wheels lock up or what? They dont for me and I want them to.I dont know why i want my back wheels to lock up but its like extra security on steep hills.I dont know. The haynes manual says to look at the general maintinance for the amount of clicks, when i go there it says to look at Ch.9 or something, when I go there it says look at the general maintinance section.it sucks.

The easy answer is three to five clicks, or about 1/4th to 1/2 inch of lever travel before the pads engae the discs, and you feel resistance :)
