I want to build a turbo setup for my d16y7. my engine has 115,000 miles on it but runs well. i havent done a compression test but i will. If anyone has done this or a similar setup, what would you say is the absolute ideal way to turbo this engine. i need it to be reliable, so im only looking around 6-8psi. i would probably need to get the parts in stages, to spread out the cost a little. i have heard that a t25 turbo works well. not sure what intake manifold but seems that a y8 or any aftermarket one will be ok. exhaust manifold, either custom or aftermarket. some type of fuel management and new injectors, which i have no idea about at all. i definetly want a fmic and id prob give up a/c. is there any type of guide or book or something that i can get to learn about this? searching around for random places on the internet just gives me bits of different info. i cant really make a plan with that. also im assuming junkyards are the source for alot of the parts. what about aftermarket versions of the dsm parts?
