Hey nice looking seats. What lowering springs do you have and struts do you have on your car?

AGX/Prokit combo...

How big are those rims? And what price is that kit? SPecs on the kit to, that would be nice. When I put mine on and if I notice I have a decent sized gap, I will lower it. Just not sure how much probably just 1.4".

his rims are 17s and the kit drops 1.4 inches. It will cost you around $600-700 for the struts and springs. Nice job on the car CRJ. I personally like the 3 guage piller pods, but a nice touch.

They are 17's with 225/45-17 rubbers. Kicken myself for not gettin 18's. But o well... um...

Prokit varies in price from place to place, but i paid $238 for the Eibach prokit which is a drop of 1.4" all the way around. The struts also will vary in price as well... They are KYB AGX adjustable with 4 way front and 8 way rears, i paid $480 for those. New strut mounts that are not shot..( $80 )( fucking eh )

old pic of my buddies sunfire.... he has goldlines which are a stiff 1.7" all the way around.

The rims I purchased are 225/40/18. I want to lower it, but not sure how low I should go. I was thinkging the pro kit or sportline kit from eibach. I found a damn good price on the 1.4" kit. Just not sure what struts to go with on that kit.

I was going to get one of those which you know are a direct replacement, but they do not fit the sedans.... at the top where it meets the headliner, there is like an inch gap since they are meant for coupes. Thats why i went double, besides we have a whole dash that we can fill up with some gauges.

If your go like 1.7" or lower and you kit your car, you'll be having ground clearence problems...

Chris's sunfire spring....

http://img324.imageshack.us/img324/2455/frontdeadon24hx.jpg

There is about 2-2.5" from the lip touching the ground...

Another reason i went with the 1.4" lowered.

I'm not gonna kit my car, but I was looking on websites and found a Goldline kit for $179.99 which will lower it 1.75 front/rear. Is that too low with 18"s?

Please don't fill up your dash with guages. Thats tacky. A few ok, but not all the way across. Sucks the triple pod doesn't fit. I'm kinda kicking myself for selling most of the stuff I bought for my car. Guess it'll pay off in a couple of months. Sucks till then though.

But before i do anything major i need to fix the problems my car is giving me now. If i cannot fix them, i am going to sell the car and get another cav. Thing is pissing me off as of reacent. Its backfireing when i bring it into its power range for some fucking reason. I have terrible front end vibrations. My strut mounts are now shot... and i cannot get my car into the shop untill next weekend to work on the fucking thing. I was out there last night installing the gauges partially, till i was screwed on finding a 12v ign. power source. So i had to finish that up tonight. I hate wiring stuff. So yea.... I have 2 cv shafts in my trunk waiting installment hoping thats whats causing the vibrations.

This just reminds me that over on jbody.org we figured my summit kit is the lowest body kit for the cavis. I sit almost if not as low as that at stock ride height. :lol2:

What brand gauges are those and how can I go about finding them?

ATM-1397 ( tach) Street rod ( series ) artic white..

Other one is an autometer as well

dont take this personally but why would you want 2 tachs...why not get like a oil temperature guage or you could even screw around and trick ppl by putting a boost guage or something. its a nice setup but i dont see the purpose for 2 tachs

Classicrocjunkie
07-15-2005, 01:23 PM
^^^ I don't have 2 tachs there bro. Just that one in the gauge pod. Alot of the base model cars with the 2.2 were not equipt with a tach. I beleive only the LS and RS 2.2 had them. Other wise you only get fuel/speedo/temp. Soooooooo..... i got one for my auto for when i run Nitrous so i know when i am about to redline. Thus the reason why its only a 7K RPM and our cars redline at 6200rpm.

You know if you get stock guages w/ tac the tac will work in your car right? Well it does in a 2001 anyways.

the RS 2.2 does not have a tach, at least not in 1998

Yeah but not for a tac in my opinion. If it weren't possible for the stock gauges with tac to work, then ya use the guage pod. Difference of opinion I guess.
