Civic HX it VTEC-e which is VTEC tuned for gas milage instead of performance

Yes the HX is an VTEC-E (economy) better gas millage. Tuned for economy not power. Different cams, different head and combution chamber. One of the intake valves remain closed while on idle and low rpm's. And then when the rpm's go up the intake cam catches the second valve and operates like normal.

yes it has vtec but only for economic reasons, known as vtec-e.

Well since like 3 people said the same thing -- I thought I would jump on the bandwagon...

Yeah it has "vtec" in a sence, but its not performance tuned its more geared for economy and is called "Vtec-e" :finger:
