Rice-Rocketeer 04-24-2002, 03:46 PM Do you have a picture that could help us out a little? onesojourner 04-24-2002, 04:28 PM ya a pic man. i have no idea what your talking about CivicEx95 04-24-2002, 05:53 PM It's just the shift lite right? On mine, I didn't have any trouble replacing the lens. Hmm. j.fuggi 04-24-2002, 06:24 PM Originally posted by CivicEx95 It's just the shift lite right? On mine, I didn't have any trouble replacing the lens. Hmm. well how'd you get your amber lens out? and here are some pics. IMO i think i have to squeeze the two holes together and then it'll come out. like spring loaded - only no spring. ya know?? take a look: 94civic 04-24-2002, 07:08 PM just use a needle nose plier. put the tips of the plier on each hole and squeeze and it should come out. CivicEx95 04-24-2002, 07:28 PM Exactly, you need to squeeze those two points together with pliers or something. The ring will come out, then you can replace the lens. j.fuggi 04-24-2002, 11:05 PM i tried using some small pliers. the ring seemed VERY tight, like, it didn't even move. i gotta find a smaller pair that i acn fit in the holes. is this really how its done? its a serious pain in the ass. clatescivicr 04-25-2002, 12:31 AM Who said modding was easy?:D Wouldn't mind seeing pics once the blue is in, especially at night. Hope it doesnt look to sky blueish :( Originally posted by j.fuggi i tried using some small pliers. the ring seemed VERY tight, like, it didn't even move. i gotta find a smaller pair that i acn fit in the holes. is this really how its done? its a serious pain in the ass. luti 04-25-2002, 01:49 AM Their is a tool for that kind of thing. I don't know if you want to buy a specific tool just for this. I'm not sure of the name, or its real use, but I believe its for adding and removing C clips and E clips. I'll ask my dad tomorow, he owns one. j.fuggi 04-25-2002, 07:24 AM Originally posted by luti Their is a tool for that kind of thing. I don't know if you want to buy a specific tool just for this.
