when the first F&F came out the number of people out there looking to "hook-up" ther cars with bodykits and wings like tripled, it was one of the first big things to promote tuner cars and street racing

while it shouldn't hurt people that go to tracks and drifting events, it will hurt people such as myself that due to the lack of tracks and events in close range, practice drifting in empty lots at night

Most of the guys in my class didnt even know what drifting was when they saw a Nob poster i had on the front of my binder. Id be willing to be after this movie comes out, almost every single one of those guys/girls will know what drifting is...drifting is better without everyone knowing about it and doing stupid things to make real drivers/drifters look bad to the world and have people think they are just reckless drivers.

it wont cause cheaper prices, ever since drifting hit the US, i only see the prices of 240's going up. This isnt convienent for me because i dont have a 240 yet and im pissed with how high people are trying to sell the cars at...

Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Casting Call
Finn Hiller Casting (Crash, Coach Carter) is seeking male actors of any ethnicity and Japanese female actresses leads in the Universal Pictures feature film, Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo. The film is about an obsessive street racer named Shaun who is exiled to Tokyo after annoying the local police once too often.

Shaun is treated like an outsider and mocked for being a gai-jin. He is drawn to the subculture of drift racing, a dangerous and sometimes deadly sport that he masters with startling speed. In the process, Shaun makes a deadly enemy and meets the love of his life, Tani.

Tani is a stunning Japanese girl who attends the same school as Shaun in Tokyo. When they interact at first, she dismisses him until she realizes that he is an obsessive street racer as well. Chaos arises when Shaun finds out that she is in fact D.K.'s girlfriend (the "Drift King" of Tokyo). Shaun enrages D.K. by challenging him to a drift race, while at the same time forming a friendship with Tani, which eventually evolves into a forbidden romance.

Reevise (Aka Twinkie) is a fellow classmate of Shaun, who is the first to befriend him in Tokyo. He too is car-crazy and drives a Nissan S15 Silvia. thats what tracks and drift days are for anyway. Track is the best way to get a totally legit race.

but most of the time when cops find out about shit its from people in neighborhoods that call and complain (like its late at night, they live maybe close to some open roads, and all the sudden they hear like 10 cars with exhaust go rumbling by, what are they going to think?)

and all im saying is that there are bound to be at least some news reports and newspaper articles about drifting when F&F3 comes out that these same people will read, and find out about it. Then they will consider it their civic duty to be a snitch about it and keep a look out. so if they see lots of burnt rubber on the ground somewhere by where they live, and often hear loud cars late at night, but know the roads arent long and straight for drag racing, they will most likely put 2 and 2 together and figure out that there is drifting going on. if they had no knowledge of drifting they would probably not worry about it because "obviously" people couldnt be going too fast because the roads are curvy.

and also theres probably going to be more stuff like that Geico flyer on here awhile back teaching parents what signs to look for to see if their child is drifting. (or car-tag whatever the fuck that was all about lol.)

all i know is my parents dont give two shits. If that does happen, that may keep kids from doing it anyway. Mommy and daddy say no no. But if your like me and have to pay for everything yourself, well then its up to me if i want to trash up my car.

Good game.... Bad main character. Auron was pretty damn cool tho. And they could have focused a lil less on graphics, making the characters actually talk, ect and put it into the story and gameplay a lil more.

actually buying an FF game wouldnt be a bad idea. It would keep him plenty busy for months, while he saves up for engine work. Those games are a (atleast) 80 hours long....i just like to fight fiends and level up.
