Radiator Fan On 93 voyager run work ,BUT....markymark60 07-09-2005, 11:53 PM THe radiator fan on my '93 Voyager stopped working all of a sudden a week ago.Of course , the A/C doesnt wont run now either (i think because the fan wont come on?) I checked all the fusable links or as many I could find and they tested good. Next , on a '93 the first relay in the row of 5 is the low speed relay and the last or 5th one, is the high speed relay(chiltons). After checkin the fans and links (all good) i replaced the high relay first with an extra i got from a junk yard off of a 92. Still no fan when i started the engine, but when i turned the A/C on the fan came on......but after about ten minutes the fan stopped and it hasnt come back on since. What now? Couild it be a faulty PCM or temp sensor? The Temperature sensor is bye the thermostat right?Does this control the fan coming on? The relay is still making a clicking sound , so I think it is working...... Can anybody help?..........Mark( in kansas city) EZFrank 07-10-2005, 09:52 AM on my 97 they wont come on either i unpluged the temp sensor and they come on but stay on all the time also i have a check engine light that is on i also think it maybe the fan temp relay but havent found it on my van. Good luck FrankC B33p3r 07-10-2005, 07:55 PM Do you have voltage going to the fan? Watch your fingers! The relay can be pulling in but if no voltage passing through to fan......??? temp sensor is also a possibility. markymark60 07-11-2005, 01:31 AM Do you have voltage going to the fan? Watch your fingers! The relay can be pulling in but if no voltage passing through to fan......??? temp sensor is also a possibility. Other than the 10 minutes it ran after installing another relay, with the A/C on only(the high speed side,it hasnt ran. I checked to see if there was power to the fan with a good test light and didnt get any voltage...I also unhooked the temp.sensor next to the thermostat, and all that happened was i got another trouble code. The codes, by the way , were 12, 22, 33 and last one 55. None of witch are a fan relay.....? B33p3r 07-12-2005, 10:23 AM Test your fan relay. Then take it from there. This will tell you if the main coil circuit is failing or if the secondary circuit supplying B+ from battery is to blame. markymark60 07-13-2005, 12:06 AM OK! .......the fan is fixed! I did all the tests ...Finally took it to a repair shop(a very good one i might add) and they found it,Fuseable Link. I checked all the ones i could see, guess I missed that one.. Anyway Thanks for all the help , I really learned alot from you guys and hope to be a part of this Forum for a long time. I know i'll learn alot!..... Mark Test your fan relay.
