Celica Engine in Tercel ??

I asked one of my friends who is in UTI...and i asked him if i can put like a Celica Engine in my 94 Tercel... He said it could be done but i dont know what Year will fit in the Tercel ... Well first of all i would like to know if a Celica Engine will fit in the Tercel .... Does anyone know if that can be done ??? anyone ???

If thatz possible, i would like to know if i can change my transmission from Auto to Manual ??? Cuz im sick of Auto...
